In a previous post, we mentioned that girls are more likely to experience math anxiety than boys. We mentioned that math-related apps are a great way to build confidence in your child, to help keep math anxiety at bay, and now we have a new app to add your your educational arsenal.
Marble Math and Marble Math Junior, from the folks who brought you Alien Buddies, are giving parents the power to customize lessons for their children according to their needs. Marble Math Junior (for children ages 5-7) and Marble Math (for children 9-12+) present math problems in the form of an engaging, entertaining game. From simple addition to multiplication, Roman numerals, money and factoring, the apps help reinforce math concepts as they entertain.
In addition, parents can customize the lessons according to areas of improvement. Even if the child answers incorrectly, he/she then has the opportunity to retry the question, or to see the answer and learn from mistakes.
Each app is available for $1.99. Download Marble Math here and Marble Math Junior here.
