Math can be a difficult subject for young children, but the Playful Minds: Math app is giving kids a fun, interactive way to learn and excel in math.
Focused on children 5-8 years old, the app was designed with teachers and based on the U.S./U.K. curriculum. It features 300 exercises covering five different categories: Algebra, Geometry, Data Analysis, Measurement and Numbers & Operations. Kids can create their own personalized avatar as they explore a tropical island full of animated animal professors. They also receive rewards for their work that will motivate them to keep going. The social aspect of the app also allows kids to compete against their friends, giving them a fun challenge.
Parents can also track their kids process, and address any areas of concern.
